After Fanime, I'm pretty certain that I will probably not attend another anime convention for this year. I honestly spent more time in San Francisco tracking down milongas, but as I returned back to San Jose, I returned to scenes of EMTs carting away people who drank too much, kids puking all over the place and people stumbling back to their rooms (I hope) aimlessly. I guess the shock hit me quite a bit and it's starting to settle in almost a month later. I never really went out as I was usually hosting my own party or at a friend's party. Most of the time, we all stayed within our limits. A few stumbling, but never to the point of puking. So

I've decided to take a step back from alot of things in my life. The truth is I've fallen out of love with cosplay and I've fallen in love with tango. So I think I shoot more tango than anything else since I've started going to milongas. I get less favs now but I think that should be expected on two fronts. 1. It's a new field and I need to create a new fan base 2. alot of my facebook favs were primed to be favs thanks to the amazing cosplayers I've been lucky to work with or just people will fave their favorite characters regardless of how crappy the photos are. I've started a real approach to argentine tango in October 2012 when I finally went to my first milonga. From there I realized that the past year of lessons were for nothing because what I was learning was NOT the argentine tango, but just a series of patterns you may see on dancing with the stars.
